Pre-Cayamo Adventure
This year we decided to stay in South Beach the night before Cayamo began. It was our first time there, and it had a lot of fun energy. And then we ran into Martin and Andrew and did some pre-festival drinking and catching up!
Bill got me a temporary tattoo machine, so we had custom Cayamo temp tattoos this year!
It is also the year that I got color-changing nail polish that made me smile every time I noticed it.
On-board
Buddy Miller made a guest appearance as the "sail away" artist this year. That's in quotes because he didn't actually sail away with us. We didn't leave Miami until after his show was complete and he'd left the boat. It was a great show!

Susan Werner on the Shawn Mullins variety show. There are Cayamoans who find this to be heresy, but I find his shows to be totally cringe and don't normally attend them. I made an exception this year because Susan was involved and she, as always, was wonderful.
Langhorne Slim. He was so fantastic! His shows were among my favorites of the whole week.
